ANDHRA PRADESH SUB-REGISTRARS’ ASSOCIATION is established in the year 1965. It is registered under Societies Registration Act in the same year. As per by laws of the Association, it intends to unite all the Sub-Registrars working in Stamps and Registration Department of Andhra Pradesh Government and to cater needs of the members. Finally, it is recognized by Government of AP as one of the Recognized Service Association.
Many times, it is included as Member Association of the Joint Staff Council of Service Associations to enable to discuss problems of Employees, Teachers and Workers working under A.P. Government. At present, it is a Member Association of Joint Staff Council on Rotation basis for the year 2012-2013. Though, its members are Sub-Registrars, it is working for the benefit of all the employees of Registration and Stamps Department.
The Association is responsible to get more posts of employees, Sub-Registrars and Officers to cater the needs of the department. Particularly, in the years of 2004 to 2008, there is a revolutionary change in real estate and there is manifold demand for land in Andhra Pradesh. Number of Registrations of documents in Sub-Registrar Offices has been shot up in abnormal ratio. The Association demanded for creation of new offices, sanction of posts of employees, Sub-Registrars and Officers to serve people without delay.
Government accepted the demands of the Association and sanctioned ( ) new Sub-Registrar Offices, ( ) District Registrar Offices and ( ) Deputy Inspector General Offices by implementing Re-organization of the Department. New posts from the category of Junior Assistant to Additional Inspectors-General have been sanctioned by Government, due to relentless efforts of the Association under the dynamic leader ship of Sri DevarajuVishnuvardahnRaju. Mr. VijayaBhaskarRao and Mr. VishnuvardhanRao co-operated with the Association by working dawn to dust until get the things done.
